# Events

## If you and your team is going to an event, conference or similar with a need for streamlined communication, Events will help you.

### What are events?

With **Events** you can manage the material and follow-up that you wish your new leads to get during the event. This helps you ensure consistent communication to leads, save time for your team and be remembered in a relevant way.

### How to create events

1. Once in the **Company Dashboard** navigate to **Follow-up** and **Events**
2. Click **Create event**
3. Now fill in the following 
     1. Give it a name
     2. Set the date range
     3. Pick a email template, that goes out 5 mins after the connection is made
     4. Add or select materials to include
     5. Add the users that are going to the event
4. Click save

On the dates of the event the added users' **MyCard** will show the added materials and the selected email template will be used for the follow-up mail.

Once event dates are over, the users' MyCards will revert to the previous state, before the event.

### Event name tags

Contacts made during the event, will be given an **event name tag** on the **company dashboard.** That you have easy access to information on what event, which leads came from.

 

Users can have the option to remove or add themselves to events, user the **Events** section editing their **MyCard**
