      Compatible StintoTap devices

      If you are wondering which phones can read StintoTap card, the below list gives you an overview.

      StintoTap works with NFC technology, a standard functionality on all modern phones. Therefore StintoTap can be read on all recent phones, with NFC enabled. However, if you want to check compatibility, this is the list you need to check.

       

      iPhones from 2018 and Androids from 2017 or later, are generally able to read StintoTap cards. This covers the vast majority of phones you'll be tapping.

      If tapping fails, the QR code can be scanned to connect instead.

      Android phones need to have NFC enabled.

      Troubleshooting StintoTap

      iPhones: 

      iPhone 7, iPhone 8, iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro Max and all future models.

      Note that for iPhone 7, iPhone 8, and iPhone X access to NFC can be found in the control center using iOS 14 (see below instructions).

      You can also ask people to scan the QR code instead.

      Enabling NFC reader in the control center

      1. Open “Settings” on your iPhone.
      2. Go to “Control Center”.
      3. Scroll down and tap on the plus icon you see besides the “NFC Tag Reader” option.
      4. You will now see the icon in your “Control Center”.

      Androids

      Android devices can turn NFC on or off. If a new contact's phone is not reading the card straight away on the back of the phone, ask the new contact to scan the QR code instead.

      Pixels: 

      Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3XL, Pixel 3A, Pixel 3aXL, Pixel 4, Pixel 4a 5G, and all future models.

      LG:

      G3, Nexus 5X, V10, G4, K10, V20, G5, G6, V30, V35 ThinQ, Q Stylus, Q Stylo 4, V40 ThinQ, V50 ThinQ 5G, Q8, Q7, G7 ThinQ, G8, G8 ThinQ, Q9, One and all future models.

      HTC:
